Why drive electric?

Within a few years all new cars will have to be 100% electric. With no U-turn in sight,
driving electric is the way to go. The advantages are clear.

Lower energy costs

How much does it cost to drive electric? A quick comparison. An average car will cover 100km on 7 litres of petrol or diesel. At two euros per litre, that costs 14 euros. In normal conditions and when driven normally, an electric vehicle consumes around 18kW per 100km. That works out at just 3.2 euro per 100km. Do you have solar panels? In that case, you’ll pay even less.

Charge ahead

So how long does it take to charge an EV? It depends on your car and the type of charging station. But clearly, charging at home or at work means you don’t have to drive to a filling station every time you need to charge your battery. That saves you a lot of time. But otherwise our charging station network is growing constantly. So you’ll always find one nearby should you need us.

Better for the environment

How environment-friendly are EVs? EVs don’t run on combustion engines so they produce zero carbon emissions when being driven. And their carbon footprint over their whole life is a lot smaller than that of a petrol or diesel car. When you consider that half of all carbon emissions in some European countries are produced by traffic, it’s pretty clear: EVs are the environment-friendly option and help reduce air pollution, noise and odour levels.
